My origin story and super powers.

Based out of Salt Lake City Utah, I got my start in music but switched over to art and design. I have a degree in graphic design and while I was in school, I interned at Penna Powers, an ad agency in Salt Lake City and eventually landed my first job there. I have over 10 years experience in advertising and marketing doing design work at a local and national level. I have worked doing advertising, marketing, print, web, campaign, event, apparel, surface and production design. I also have overseen quality control over an art department. I work well in both independent, team based environments and can really get in the zone when there are tight turnarounds, “fires” and other high stress jobs or deadlines.

The skills and programs I work in are in Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Acrobat, Lightroom, Premiere and Figma. Since I got my start in music, I played multiple instruments and the more you learn, the easier it is to pick up new ones. I carry that skill in other creative programs that are either new or foreign to me. I’m a quick learner and make a point to learn something new when I’m in a situation that demands a new skill in a new program.

In addition to my professional work, I have also been making commercial and original art in which I sell at art galleries and various conventions around the country every year for over 10 years. I have exhibited at over 25 conventions and have learned a lot about selling at events, interacting and selling directly to thousands of people and responding to cultural trends and crowd buying behaviors.

I’m an easy going fun guy with a silly sense of humor, who doesn’t take himself too seriously and finds the importance in bringing a good upbeat attitude and creating a fun culture to any new environment and job I’m at.

Outside of work and art, my other interests include reading, continuing my education, fitness, combat sports, music, concerts, playing Magic the Gathering with friends and I am a massive Star Wars nerd.
